DJI Neo 2 — best for vlogging and indoors
The DJI Neo 2 is a palm-sized selfie drone that grew up. It launches from your hand, follows you with AI tracking, and now has omnidirectional obstacle sensing plus a small LiDAR sensor so it can fly in a living room without hitting the lamp. 4K/60 and improved wind resistance fix the two biggest complaints about the original DJI Neo. That combination — a genuinely good camera that is safe to fly near people — is unique at this price. 4K/60 HDR, 10-bit D-Log M, 31 minutes of flight and forward obstacle sensing make it the pick for creators who want cinematic footage without worrying about a crash on day one.
DJI Mini 4K — best traditional starter
If you want to learn to fly with two sticks and a conventional camera drone, the DJI Mini 4K is the obvious choice at $150.75. It lacks obstacle sensing, so start in open fields, but the 4K/30 footage is clean and the 10 km O2 link is more than you will ever legally need. DJI Mini 3 — best flight time and photos
